Healthy Living Partnership (607-277-0960) offers preventive health services such as mammograms, pap smears, and colorectal cancer screening to individuals who might have difficulty paying for them.

Ithaca Free Clinic (607-330-1254, 225 S. Fulton Street, Ithaca – next to Agway) is an integrative health and wellness service offered 2-6 pm Mondays and 4-8 pm Thursdays. It provides health care screening and referrals to any uninsured person who walks through the door.

Get Covered Info Line (607-272-9331) provides information to Tompkins County residents about health insurance options, including free and low-cost plans through New York State.

The Small Comforts Foundation (607-257-6059; www.smallcomforts.org) provides small grants to improve the quality of life of Tompkins County residents with chronic illness.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (315-471-1050, 800-690-8944) provides financial reimbursement for some medications, transportation and procedures for people affected by those conditions.

Samaritan Center of Catholic Charities (607-272-5062) provides referrals and assistance with emergency financial support to low income residents with urgent needs.
